Test AtlasOA or Atlas K-12 yourself for 30 days
AtlasOA, LLC does not use the traditional model where a salesperson controls a live demo. We send your institution the real software, a license, and a written evaluation guide, and your own people decide whether it meets your requirements.

Why we work this way. We would rather give your institution the product and let your team test it than spend an hour showing you only what we want you to see. You control the evaluation: the machine, the data, the people involved, and the questions asked. We are still here to help, by email, whenever your team has a question.
How the evaluation works
- Review the productRead the product pages, pricing, security information, architecture, system requirements, and sample data. Most questions can be answered before you contact us.
- Request your evaluationEmail us with your institution name and which product you are evaluating. You receive the evaluation package: the Windows installer, an evaluation license key (AtlasOA), and the written evaluation guide.
- Install itRun the installer on infrastructure your institution controls (a server, a virtual machine, or a Windows PC) using the documented system requirements. Nothing is hosted by us.
- Use test dataLoad our sample data, synthetic data you create, or your institution's own approved non-production data. You never need production student records to find out whether the software works.
- Put it through your own testsHave IT, assessment staff, institutional effectiveness, faculty, administrators, counselors, MTSS or Care Team members, and security reviewers test the workflows that matter to you. The evaluation playbook lists what to cover.
- DecideYour institution decides based on its own testing, not on a curated demonstration.

Email ashleyreddick@atlasoa.com and include your institution name and the product you want to evaluate.
What is in the package
| Item | AtlasOA | Atlas K-12 |
|---|---|---|
| Windows installer for the full product | Yes | Yes |
| Evaluation license key | Yes. The 30 days start on the day you activate the key, not the day we issue it. Each key also carries a final activate-by date. The key is verified on your machine; nothing is sent to us. | Not needed. The evaluation package is the installer and its setup documentation. |
| Written evaluation guide | Yes: the public AtlasOA Evaluation Guide (PDF), from installation through a full assessment cycle on a built-in sample program. | Provided with the package. A public Atlas K-12 evaluation guide is not yet published; the playbook lists what to test. |
| Sample data | Built-in sample program, plus downloadable datasets and CSV templates | Synthetic student, attendance, behavior, assessment, and calendar files |
| Credit card, sales call, or per-student count required | No | No |
Who to involve
- IT and security: installation, network behavior, permissions, backups, and the security controls.
- Privacy and compliance: student data handling, data ownership, and the Data Processing Agreement.
- Higher education: assessment coordinators, institutional effectiveness staff, program directors, department chairs, and faculty.
- K-12: district and school administrators, counselors, interventionists, MTSS and Care Team members, and teachers.
- Procurement: the Procurement Center.
Your data during the evaluation
The evaluation copy runs entirely on your machine. AtlasOA, LLC does not receive the data you load into it: neither application contains telemetry, and neither contacts a vendor server for licensing. If you choose to load your own data, we recommend approved non-production or de-identified data, handled under your institution's own policies.
When the evaluation ends
- If you purchase, AtlasOA customers receive a production license key and Atlas K-12 customers receive their license agreement. Your installation, configuration, and data stay exactly where they are.
- If you do not, uninstall the software. Uninstalling AtlasOA removes the application and, after a confirmation prompt, its data folder from that machine. Keep a copy of anything you want to retain before you uninstall.
Common questions
Can we still ask questions during the evaluation?
Yes. Email us at any point. Self-directed does not mean unsupported; it means your team decides what to look at.
Can you walk us through it?
We will answer questions and help with installation problems. What we avoid is replacing your own testing with a scripted presentation.
Do we need to connect our SIS or LMS?
No. You can evaluate everything with sample or CSV data. If you want to test a live integration, use a test or non-production system and read-only credentials. See Integrations.
Do not take our word for it. Test it yourself. Install AtlasOA or Atlas K-12 on a machine your institution controls, use sample or non-production data, and let your own people decide.
